About

Auckland is a city that is relatively young compared to other large urban centres throughout the world. Often seen to be under the thumb of the developer, with little regard for its architectural or cultural heritage, it is a city whose landscape has changed vastly over the past ten years, and is set to change even more October, 2010, as it merges with three other nearby cities to form one “Super City”. AucklandCityPhotos.com is a photographic survey of its landscape and people, seeking out its sometimes hidden aspects and offering an alternative perspective of the environment through this period of change.
